We all know Karmen is quite the kitchen goddess. Anybody who has tried any of the treats she brings into the office will be testament to this, but today she got to prove herself in front of a bunch of media peers and one of the most respected food critics in Brisbane.

Judges Natascha Mirosch from goodfood.com.au and Katrina and Mark from The Golden Pig loved Karmen’s unique and saucy dish putting her clearly in the lead heading into round two – dessert. Now Karmen just kneaded to make a top notch lemon tart to take out the competition…and she did exactly that! #datzest #sheaintatart #pastryqueen

After a long deliberation (we don’t know why as there was a clear winner), Karmen was named the first ever Good Food Cook-Off Champion in Brisbane! Congrats Karmen!
