Long and winding road

Managed to sleep on flight, and all very straightforward through passports etc. got a lift to mk from P and a nice chat with him and with A who's just back from Edinburgh festival which she loved.
Toyed with going to bed at K's and driving to edinburgh early tomorrow but on balance decided it was better to just set off today since I felt fine.
Got home about 11.30pm. It was a long drive!
