France Day 3 : Chateau de Chenonceau

Lulabel had a day off today, so we set off to explore further afield, heading north-east from Airvault.

We stopped for lunch in the picturesque old quarter of Tours, then made our way to Amboise, where L had spent a summer waitressing while at uni. She said it hadn't changed much in the intervening 14 years, but unfortunately the couple she had worked for had moved away and the restaurant was under new management.

Since we were so close, we decided to continue on to the magnificent Chateau de Chenonceau where I took this blip. It is straight out of camera - I specially like the sky :-)
