The Long Walk...

For four and a half years LH has commuted to Edinburgh. It is quite terrifying to think how many hundreds of times i have walked down Leith Walk, invariably very tired or in a mad rush to catch a cheaper train or bus.

Tomorrow will be the last day working in the capital, but today was the last day walking from the station. The car will be needed to empty the desk tomorrow.

There are many things i will miss about working in Leith, but these are outweighed by the negatives. This is what made it clear it was time to move on. One thing i will miss is Leith Walk. Such a thriving and vibrant place. No walk ever the same. Always something going on.
