Dusk, Cap Negre, Coe d'Azur

There were very few clouds in the sky this evening, but plenty of colour. A Mistral has been blowing all day which has cleared the air of much "mugginess".

Our children and their partners leave for England on Friday. We will spend a couple of days clearing up and then we will leave here on Saturday evening.

Tomorrow here in the South of France there are plenty of events including a sail by of the French Navy to celebrate the start of the liberation on August 15th. In Rayol Canadel, where we live, there will be a really good firework display as the beach here was used for the very first landings.
