Cullister

The year is moving on. Back to walking the dog before 6 am after 2 weeks of holidays and it is noticeable how much lower the morning sun is in the sky. A lovely light with longer shadows now than 2 weeks ago. The shadows are much different now than a few years ago with 5 new houses and a further 2 on their way on one side of the road.

This shot looks over to Cullister in Sandwick to a house which always be a ghost house to me. In the late 80's we looked at the house when it came on the market but it had been as if the owner decided during breakfast that he was moving as there was still a mug of tea, egg in egg cup, half eaten piece of toast and newspaper open on the kitchen table.
