Grotesques

I often pass St. Mary's Church in Woburn and admire the four devil-like Grotesques standing at the corners at the top of the tower. I always think I should take a picture of them and as I was meeting a couple of ex-colleagues for lunch today, I remembered to take my camera. While taking the shot some ladies from the church arrived and said that there always seems to be someone taking pictures of them; clearly a popular subject! There are some equally impressive Gargoyles at the edge of the roof; I'll save them to Blip another day.
