Coming in to land

I spent some time this morning trying to photography the bees on our lavender bush. I was trying to catch one mid flight which kept me busy for ages but was quite pleasant given the smell of the lavender. This was the best I could manage. Over the past few days I had noticed that there was just one of these red tailed bees that visits among a number of other bees and hoverflies. I think its a Bombus lapidarius.
