Tootie's Chain.

I was back in the vicinity of the railroad today. I wandered as far as Tootie Green's Bar & Grill. Sadly, this eaterie is no more. It closed its doors a few weeks ago.

This bar and grill has an unusual location on a triangular traffic island bounded by the two branches of Roosevelt Boulevard and the short stretch of unamed road that connects them.

To prevent cars from parking on the grass verge, the frontage of this establishment had fence made from what I can only assume was once a ship's anchor chain threaded through several stanchions.

It will be a major undertaking if they ever decided to remove that fence.
