After the storms of last December, the village bus shelters were the worse for wear; not much cover if your roof is lying on the ground next to you!

In such a beautiful place, even the most mundane street architecture can contribute to the aesthetic. Here is the first shelter to be more than restored, with wonderful artwork by local artist David Aitchison.
