Last full day of holidays; met S brother and his daughter at Whitley Bay; landed really lucky with sunshine against a predicted monsoon; so we had 4 hours sandy, surfy, splashy stuff; mostly the siblings chatted, I did life guard duties.

Around mid afternoon, the gloom descended and we scattered from the beach; just time for group shots for social networking media; this one is frighteningly reminiscent of John O Groats in April..... Do you think Childline can take referrals from blipfoto...?

Then back, packed, quiet evening in preparation for the wander home on Saturday.
