Lessons to be learned........

There is a great song called Sweet about Me by a young Australian artist named Gabriella Cilmi. She has a wonderful gravelly jazz voice which sounds much older than her years.
One of the lines is about "if there's lessons to be learned"........

So today's lessons (with a background soundtrack courtesy of Gabriella) are.............

Crouching in the very back of a small and steeply sloping cave in order to shoot sunrise may not be overly painful at the time but will more than likely catch up with you later in the day!

My widest wide angle is just not wide enough!

The dramatic difference in light inside the cave and outside is very extremely difficult to manage when combined with sunrise (I need to work on that more)!

Jasper dog can overcome his deep-seated urge to chase that pelican in order to to watch the sunrise with Mum instead!

A lady walking past my retreat to lay flowers as the sun rose reminded me of the sweetness of life.....to truly live each day and not take anything for granted.........
