Beach to ourselves in Daintree National Park

Woke up and went for a wander on the beach. Had it mainly to ourselves and we're in the National Park so its beautiful. Ancient rainforest meets the sea ...

Had a paddle and lunch on the beach then moved on and went on a raised walk through the rainforest which had a platform 23 meters up so you could view the rainforest from the canopy ... amazing although the pics aren't great!

Drove onto Port Douglas later on today and had an al fresco dinner using the free bbq's dotted along the beach. Had our first night "wild" camping at a cute little spot on the sea front. Just us and 4 other vans and the noise of the waves .... oh yeah, the traffic from the main road just behind us! Lovely nevertheless.
