More Taining

This time it is the POD leaders (POD being local neighbourhood emergency support groups) from all over the island gathering at Beaver Point Hall and reporting on all the things they have found that work for their neighbourhood and might work for others.....being like Boy Scouts and always being prepared.

The more I report on these things I'm beginning to sound like Henny-Penny "The sky is falling...." but I honestly don't think that way but when you live in a remote area (south end of Salt Spring Island) and have been stranded/isolated for ten days because of a freak winter storm you tend to know the advantage of being prepared for anything.
