Trimdon Grange Colliery

Today i was on the east durham run delivering to a lot of former pit villages , where they usually have a pit wheel as a monument to the former colliery . One of the saddest memorials is in Trimdon grange village which commemorates a disaster in 1882 that killed 74 men and boys .
