Rian

My Dad took us and two of our cousins up to RodneyPillar today. It was still very windy from the remnants of Hurrican Bertha but all the kids managed the climb and had a smashing time. Rian was the oldest child and my wife said is at the age between being a carefree noisy child and a more thoughtful teenager. I definitely noticed how much quieter she is than when she last played with our daughter. A bit of a shame and a poignant reminder that we shouldn't take our children's sometimes boistrous childhood for granted.
