Born with a silver spoon

Elora (named months before the birth) managed to spend her first night of life on the outside in her own home. Not an easy night, but it's early days. My parents drove down from Scotland for the night, and were the first official visitors, although my in-laws were the first to see her with a Skype video call, before they got on their plane. So we were greeted by both sets of grandparents and an enthusiastic uncle this morning.
Elora received this silver spoon from my parents last night, commissioned, by a family friend/ master jeweller. The butterfly headpiece and coloration was chosen for its connection to our weeding last year. She's also been given a beautiful silver bracelet with her name on it by her mum's parents.
Elora also returned to the hospital this morning, where she showed us that she does an outstanding impersonation of a baby velociraptor. She did not enjoy her first physical. But she was given a clean bill of health, and was met by her maternal grandparents when she got home. All are smitten
