I caught this performer smiling to herself. I wondered what made her smile..

We are into the second week of the festival and you can see that some performers are starting to lose their energy. It takes a lot to go out there and sell your show. I admire these people's perseverance!

It takes perseverance as well trying to get a decent shot on the Royal Mile. Every time I see a photo opportunity, a tourist just walks in front of my camera! Only once, a woman apologized. I was glad because that time I completely lost the moment because of her! Grrrr! So yes, it requires patience to take photos on the Royal Mile too!

Work has been busy every day with the Festival going on, and I'm feeling knackered. I'm glad I'll be off work for the next couple of days. I really need to recover.
