Day 17 of 100 Days of Nature

It was certainly a day of bumble bees - a few white butterflies too - but the terrible winds & rain of the last few days has blown everything else away sadly! Yesterday was a total wash out, so no pictures sadly.

Tomorrow we're off to our annual pilgrimage to Rutland & the Bird Fair which started Friday to Sunday - will be there every day. So looking forward to it! Need this holiday like crazy right now, had such a stressful few months, it's time to enjoy ourselves! Plus I love the hotel we're going t o be staying at - our 3rd time there, hope it's still as good as it was last year! Leaving leisurely tomorrow morning (after a run) & in no hurry, just going to relax & no motorways only the M5 as going up the Fosse Way (Roman road!) :) xxx
