Reflections #4

The upside of being rather busy without time for daytime blipping is that you have reasons enough to enjoy with a tripod at night. So here is another one from our village at night.

Today I saw Amanda, a fellow student from Uganda, who received the sad news yesterday that her brother died totally unexpected of celebral fever, which is associated with malaria. Another sign that malaria nowadays is one of the prime medical problems of Africa. On top of it all she cannot return to her family because it would affect her study too much and she would arrive too late anyway. My thoughts are with her today.
