This was one of these days when the pump team venture into a new area to discuss needs for clean water and assess the possibility of assisting communities

INTRODUCTION OF WELLS FOR ZOE

I told them that we do shallow wells
Agro Forestry and Conservation farming

CHALLENGES
Most of the villages use the open wells
The land has stones which makes it very had to dig and find water
The stones often makes it impossible to penetrate


VILLAGES
GVH Andrea Moyo has 8 villages

WELLS AVAILABLE

Some of the villages has the Zoe pump most especially in Florence area and they
are working very well.

CHAIRMEN
The villagers suggested that each village should have one chairman who should be able to facilitate the work. The Chairman to be supported by two women
One chairman was chosen from each village who will also be working hand in hand with Florence and Wells For Zoe

OTHER CHALLENGES
The GVH complained of the road that was supposed to be constructed
and that they themselves would mobilise workers
They pleaded with us if we could mobilise for a drilling machine to assist where rock was present
