Heather Hunt

Beautiful, warm sunny day!

For the last couple of years we have missed seeing heather on the hills by a couple of weeks. We were pretty sure we would see some to day, so we set off with our grandchildren to the Sma' Glen, just north of Crieff. We were not disappointed as the hills in this area were covered in heather. Some of the best views were in parts of the road where we couldn't stop but there was enough in the Glen itself.

Afterwards, we travelled on to Dunkeld, where we had afternoon tea. The views of the River Tay around the Bridge were fantastic. If you would like to see these photos have a look at my Flikr set.
