Meet Alan.

The dominant peacock at Powis Castle. He struts his stuff around and about the flower beds at Powis, but Alan is very bashful about the visitors, so most of his days during these Summer months are spent on the roof or behind very tall bushes. He did make a 'dashing' appearance this morning, it was brief though- just enough time to catch his head.
I'm off to the Bird Fair at Rutland Water tomorrow- so I hope to 'back' blip my blips on Sunday.
