Orchid

In one sense, house plants are a cheat. They are not in their natural environment, which I would prefer. I like things in proper context.

But that would mean spending time in foreign parts. Meanwhile, they are gracing our sitting room, so why not grace my Journal? Anyway, I can always call it 'Still Life', can't I?
