Build An Ark!

Bucketing down! It's been raining all night, and it doesn't look like it plans on stopping any time soon.

Yesterday evening, we were treated to the most extraordinary sight -- we heard a very strange, loud yowling sound down in the field where Rubicon, my friend's horse, lives. When we went outside to investigate, we saw an enormous bobcat loping towards the woods. Rubicon came trotting after it, as if he were escorting the animal from the premises. The yowling noise continued however, and we then spotted a large fox? coyote? who was clearly very upset. We think perhaps it had pups hidden nearby somewhere, and that it was defending them from the bobcat. Did I have the presence of mind to grab my camera before coming outside to investigate? Of course not.
