In case you're wondering, this is what the sky looks like after 8" of rain in 12 hours (in Baltimore, luckily, not here). I realise that the photo looks a little like a cheap version of darap's fantastic b&w images of Edinburgh, but I swear I wasn't copying.

I overdosed on coffee--it was all going very, very, very well until about 5:30, when I found that I was sitting at my desk with every muscle in my body simultaneously twitching. A trip to the roof for a while calmed me down.
