Winter Bites!

I awoke in the night thinking I’d overslept and it was daylight already. My clock contradicted the light. I looked out and saw a high moon brightly shining on a gleaming white landscape. Snow! That was a surprise.

At sunrise it was all very pretty, but the masses of tiny icicles caught my fancy. They don’t refract the background as water droplets do, but have interesting patterns of their own.
