solid and sure

taking a walk around our new neighborhood, i came across these old stairs. not sure how old they are but they look pretty old and beat up. but walking on them felt solid and sure. made me think about how many things/people in life are like that. maybe they don't look so good on the outside, but when you need them they're solid and sure.
