Dragonfly at front door

Today I had the need to continue to recuperate from yesterday. During the night we had torrential rain but things were dry and very hot today. This dragonfly was on the planter that is by the front door. I have decided to make this my cover photo of my facebook page for a while.

My biggest accomplishment for the day today was baking some oatmeal cookies. Yum.
