I took my mum to visit them for supper tonight after I had driven up to fetch her to stay for a week with me. They live a short drive away from my mum.
Mum and I will go home tomorrow morning.

I started the day in Demelza shop on the High Street this morning, then walked home, picked up the car and an overnight bag and did the 2 hour drive to Ma's.
There was a very heavy downpour in the middle of the motorway journey which was quite unnerving as the windscreen wipers on full didn't keep clear visibility and the road looked like a pond! Luckily everyone reduced speed to 'crawl'!
