Baby Sensory No2, Weigh in & sleeping
Jessica enjoyed her sleep today, not that you can tell from the photos.
Mommy had to wake Jessie up at 8.30! A quick bottle, change and off to Baby Sensory. Jess loved it again, it was garden theme today.
We started off with the 'hello' song, the parents sign and sing the song to the babies, then it was the peter rabbit song that we signed too. To be honest, 3 of the mommies could have been sat twiddling their thumbs, as Jess and the 2 boys next to her just stared into each other's eyes through both songs. They were all just mesmerised by each other.
Then it was buzzy bees, tickles with giant feathers, parrot & bunny hand puppets, flappy butterflies and sniffing lavender. Then it was time for some soft play, Jess is playing with Roshn in the picture. They both liked to think they could sit up, they ended up gently head butting each other and rolling/flopping onto their sides.
Then back into the group for a singing, a puppet show and then the 'goodbye' song.
Jessica fell straight asleep on the way home.
Jess managed to play for a bit at home before she had her afternoon sleep. She had teething powder for the first time today, and the used her teething ring. That started off well, and then ended up around her nose. She spent a while trying to get it with her tongue before she just turned her head and slid it off. Mommy wasn't sat laughing at her at all.
Jessica had to be woken up for the 2nd time to go and get her weighed, she weighed in at 15lbs at 18 weeks and 1 day. So she's doing really well, right in the middle of the 50th centile.
Then home for a bottle before some holiday shopping at Tesco. She was very chatty all the way round, but not much help to Mommy at remembering things.
And then we had to wake Jessie up for the 3rd time today for her bath!
So much for never wake a sleeping baby huh!?
