CURMUDGEON

Had three good things happen today, won £4 at the Bingo (keeps my old folk entertained), won some Iced party ring biscuits in the raffle (reminds me of being a kid again) and found out that my garden had won second place in the community category of Ilkley in bloom, not that any of this would change the ways of David my old Curmudgeon, I loose count at how many times he shakes his stick in annoyance over the simplest of things, bless him, his biggest problem is being old & lonely, I spent a lot of time just letting him reminisce about his times on the open sea in the war years & how he became a wool buyer once he hit dry land.
