I won a golden globe for playing Tourist

We played tourists on tuesday.

And im certain I saw Mila Kunis on the sunset stip.

I find it amazing how Hollywood can drasticaly turn from trashy to luxurious within about 2 blocks.

We watched a girl on the street who was trying to get people to donate to a charity that helps impoverished children.
As people walked by she would ask. "Would you like to save a childs life?"
It was amazing watching the different responses people would give. Some people would even say no I don't... which shocked me, cuz I wonder how you could straight up say "No. I dont want to save a dying childs life."
Most people got mad at her cuz she made them uncomfortable, cuz it would be much easier for us to get on with our comfortable stroll down sunset strip without someone telling us about children who were dying of starvation or unclean water.
The best response I heard was this one businessman who walked by and said. "I already built a whole school for those children today. Don't ask me again!"
I almost burst out laughing as he said it. cuz he was so mad and annoyed that this girl had the nerve to ask HIM.

we talked to her for a while. and realized this. Her job is tough. Its hard standing on that street and doing that. So just be friendly to her. You don't have to give thousands of dollars, just dont treat her like dirt for sticking up for children who have no one else in their corner.
