Summer woods

Spent most of the day cooking for friends, but did sneak out a short while ago for some fresh air. I love this moment, don't you - school summer holidays and everywhere you go in open-access woodland there are dens or the beginnings of dens being made by children and their long-suffering parents. That is what the line of up-ended branches represents here - one side of a wooden 'tent'. Shouldn't smile, a few thousand years ago, this would have been for the adults!
