Backblip

Today the sun shone and had a profound effect on David, seemingly injecting him with the energy of 10 men and tipping him into "right, let's get all those jobs that I've been putting off for months done" mode!

Rooms were cleared out, cars were washed, mirrors and pictures were hung, fairy lights were put up in the Gin Palace as well as numerous runs to the tip with car bootfulls of cardboard and old packaging that have been piling up in the outhouse for months. I kept moving for fear of ending up in the tip too!!

All this in preparation for our boy's 18th birthday BBQ next Saturday. We must have a big party more often. Things get done! :)))

Talking of parties, I was heading out to my friend and ex-work colleague Anne's 40th birthday party. Not seen the girls from work for ages so I was really looking forward to it for a good old catch up. And it was fantastic to see them! What a laugh we had! I love that we can get together after not seeing each other for months and take up where we left off. And we didn't talk about work either!

Happy Birthday Anne! I hope you enjoyed your party as much as I did. We will get together again soon. Promise :-))

Unfortunately as I was about to leave for the party I realised I hadn't taken a single photo today so as ever in these situations, a selfie has to do. I had planned to do something clever (?!) with it in PS but I'm so behind with blipping I just can't be arsed. You'll just have to take me as you find me! :-)))
