Mono Monday: Food

I stopped in Dana Point Harbor on my way home from a meeting to get a little exercise and work on the mono monday assignment. There really is a tie-in to food! This is one of the bait barges permanently anchored near the harbor entrance. Fishing boats can just tie up to the dock and purchase bait for their ocean fishing trips. You can see that the pelicans are pretty fond of this place, too. I think it is their version of a bread line from the depression days. The bait is food for the fish, that will be food for people, and the pelicans are just hoping for a few crumbs that fall by the wayside.
