Horses

We spent half of today trekking through the rainforest with a great horseman & knowledgeable guide Mr. Jose. He is of Mayan descent and speaks Mayan, Spanish & Creole. Jess & I just loved learning all about the rainforest and the history of Belize from him. The horses were steady and sure footed even on the steep, muddy paths. Our ride was over way too soon. The next time we visit perhaps Jess and I will do an overnight ride.
