Bye bye sea ... bye bye beach...

We had one final fun time with Fyfe on the beach this morning before he and his parents headed south after a lovely week with us.

Fyfe's consternation on finding this Referendum Voting Guide which was sent to his Grandparents house this morning reminded me that next time Fyfe visits us we could be committed to becoming a totally independent country from the one in which he , his parents and our other two children currently live. The implications of all our votes next month will have a profound effect on Fyfe's generation on both sides of the Anglo-Scottish border.

The news that Robin Williams' uniquely talented life came to an end overnight was a sobering thought to which we all woke to today. His celluloid legacy is one without parallel . RIP.
