Queen Victoria

Today should have been the start of the Round Britain and Ireland yacht race a distance of 1800 miles of hard sailing but due to the approach of the remains of hurricane Bertha the organisers first reversed the direction from clockwise to anti- clockwise and then with worsening conditions delayed the start until tomorrow.

So instead of a racing yacht blip here is Cunard's Queen Victoria leaving Southampton and heading into the same waters as the race but in considerably more comfort than the racers will endure.
