Winter Magic

All of a sudden there was a big blast of colour on the Billabong. Two glorious Lorikeets decided it was a good time to come down for a drink. Now they're a pretty common sight around Wombat Hollow but it seemed quite special this afternoon as it's a dull and very cold old day. They were like a little ray of sunshine.

We're finding quite a few of the birds are coming up to the big tank at the top near the house to drink these days. I think they must have found there way there while we were away and the smaller bird baths on the deck are often empty, particularly as it's been a very dry winter rain wise.

Really looking forward to our Blackheath Blipmeet on Sunday. A great group are coming out to Wombat Hollow to walk out to "Wombat Rock". Even if it's raining like mad it will be a great excuse to get together and talk Blip Talk!!
