My Time Abroad

Saturday night and my school work was finished!!!!
Handed in the shot by shot analysis yesterday, and got the annotated bib done nice and early today. After a Friday night in and a morning at the library and I was ready to enjoy Saturday evening and a relaxing Sunday.

Crazy story to prove how small this world (or country) truly is.
Above is a new friend, Eissa.. though he goes by "Jesus" because he claims its the American version of his name. Anyway he's telling me all about the Americans from last semester he was friends with and how he loved them, and how they had this Facebook group of international kids where they would talk and plan trips and stuff. So he asked if I wanted him to add me and I said sure, why not.
So he adds me and then posts in the group a few minutes later.

"Guys we have new American girl Julie Goode here, sorry Katherine Collier have to let you go . In Albany campus only 5 Americans."

Katherine Collier is my friend from Loyola!! She was here in New Zealand last semester, but at the other Massey campus about 5 hours away. So now I'm like... "WAIT! It's Katherine!??" to which I then find out Jesus was at Katherine's campus last semester in Palmerston North and then my campus here in Albany, this semester. Him and Katherine were great friends, it's crazy I came across him! Small world.

Anyway, had a fun night relieved of school work. We had some people over in our flat but didn't end up doing much afterwards.
