Still Going Well

Our last full day in the Du Lac region.

Overnight rain cleared to a misty morning, breakfast was followed by a quick period of "Make& Mend";

Leisure battery reconnected and made to work
Blown engine fuse replaced
Glasses lens refitted (dropped out again later)
Oil and water checked

We then headed north to Biscosse, the 'Surfing Capital' of the region, coffee on arrival allowed everyone to connect to WiFi and then a slow wander through the town before arriving at the beach. I saw a programme some years ago about lemmings, the view from the beach path immediately brought it to mind!!
Having collected my surfboard I head in at the designated area, it was like being in a washing machine. The strength of the undertow moving sideways made even standing difficult but I gave it a lash and earned my "I Surfed Biscosse" 'T' shirt.
Dinner followed and by discovering the joys of Google Translate all seven of us actually got what we wanted from the menu. An hours drive back saw us sitting around the camp table drinking beer and eating nibblies.
We start north tomorrow.
