My Aim is True

Somewhere in England

The day after the wedding we went off to visit friends who lived in a beautiful house in a lovely village.

But we stopped en route in this village. Reputedly one of the prettiest in England. But I have no idea what it's called, or even where it is. Somewhere near Cirencester...possibly.

We had lunch in the sun in the beer garden of the village pub. And commented that the problem with our new-fangled mobile telephones was a lot of the time there was no signal.

Many of the paths around this village were closed because of the Foot and Mouth epidemic.

We stayed longer with our friends than we expected, having a traditional Sunday dinner in their village pub. Then had to cope with the M25 on the way home.
