Remembering

I remembered to remember ! With all that I have going on, I was pleased to not have to worry about what to blip today, I knew I could leave the camera in its bag until 10pm. I knew I would want to dedicate today to all who had fought and those who had lost loved ones.

My Grandy served our country in this war and I had meant to ask The Mother for more details but haven't yet.

When I mentioned the fact, on an earlier blip, that my grandfather never talked about his time in The Forces, comments were that their family men had kept quiet about it, too.

EDIT: The Mother says Grandy served in the Highland Light Infantry in Mesopotamia and India.
