Holiday - day 4

Woke up to glorious sunshine first thing this morning... However it's been a tab changeable throughout the rest of the day!
We set off after breakfast and headed over to Meldon Reservoir near Okehampton, there was a circular walk which took us along the edge of the reservoir, along the base of a valley, past a river including a waterfall, then a rather steep climb up a hill to Black Tor, where we got some pretty epic panoramic views across dartmoor!
We managed to avoid getting soaked in the 2 downpours we encountered thanks to a tree at the start and a bit of a cave in the Tor at the top!!
A fab 4 mile walk!

We popped in to Okehampton & then over to Tavistock for a mooch round the town & an ice cream from one of Tyler's favourite ice cream shops! Yum!!

J & myself went for a wander this evening to finish off the day, and managed to catch a rainbow across the back of the village overlooking the hills ... Pretty damn perfect! :)
