Be part of the picture is Aberdeenshire Council's creative placemaking initiative that celebrates all that's good about Aberdeenshire, through photography and word. One particular project is Triptych which showcases photography under the banner of Belonging to Aberdeenshire, a collaboration with fledgling local artists, and a display of images by renowned photographer Colin Prior. The exhibition is currently touring around Aberdeenshire, with its first stop in our local community centre where this shot was taken. It doesn't do the exhibition justice but it was the best I could do on a wet miserable day that felt more like November than August! It is worth seeing though local blippers.
