Shadows

the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes,
the busy world is hushed, the fever of life is over,
and our work done

Well for today anyway. Been at work all day without a break so a drive home the long way was a must and I loved the view at Tittenley Pool; I saw the busy little Coots and Moorhens about their business, a lone Swan, cattle grazing, and my shadow in the picture too, looking very tall, well I am 6' 1"!! and all accompanied by the honks of the Canada Geese on the far side of the bank.

Revitilised now .... off to do battle in the kitchen!
