Before digital days. . . . .
. . . . people used to post letters in pillar boxes such as this one which looms from the mists of time in Kirkcaldy High Street. King George VI reigned when this box was erected so that it was standing prior to 62 years ago. And it is still active but what is the news it swallows and today how much tumbles from its door.
