Big Bertha..

brought a decent bit of wind and some largish waves today.. I always love seeing the waves going over the harbour wall.. a few moments before I took this some people walked around the Granary to the seaward side and an enormous wave came over and soaked them all.. they made a hasty retreat probably a little wetter than before!

At the far side of the lighthouse there was a sheltered bay where all the birds were floating happily with their heads tucked into their wings on calm water and there was a seal smiling happily up at the sky.. a peaceful moment in a very blustery walk.

Home for tea and to recover from the wind blasted ears!!
