Leaving the nest

Having passed, in the main, the clean desk policy inspection I appear to have the authorisation to fly away.

Crap photo but I may want to refer to it over the next few months. You can see all the things I mentioned on Monday, and the windowsill adornment from yesterday.
Had to deal with a situation today where an email to me had been passed to someone mentioned in it who assumed that the decision I was being asked to make had been taken. I couldn't comprehend at first, later I saw the email trail. I'm hoping for an explanation tomorrow.
